"We attach importance to the G8's attention to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov told reporters April 19 when commenting on the possibility of the inclusion of the Karabakh issue into the agenda of the G8 summit to be held in Saint Petersburg. In his words, the bringing of the Karabakh issue to G8 attention can prove important for its settlement. Besides, the G8 economic resources can help to restore infrastructures on the seized territories after their liberation, Azeri Deputy FM considers.
