Samsung unveils three Galaxy Tab 4 tabletsApril 24, 2014 - 16:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung Electronics unveiled three Galaxy Tab 4 tablets in 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch form factors. All three feature thin bezels, a textured backing, and a lightweight profile. They also provide a Multi User Mode so that each user has their own customizable profile, and a Kids Mode so that parents can set limits for their children, Tom’s Hardware reports. "This latest addition to Samsung's Galaxy Tab family combines versatility with value," said Michael Abary, senior vice president of mobile computing, Samsung Electronics America. "The HD display, multitasking capabilities and easy sharing features make the Galaxy Tab 4 a great fit for both consumers and businesses." All three tablets come pre-loaded with entertainment apps like Netflix and WatchOnly, as well as Google Play, Dropbox, Sirius XM and Audible.com. The tablets are also ready for the work environment, providing built-in features that support enterprise-grade VPN corporate email, on-device encryption and scalable mobile device management. The three new tablets will be offered in black and white models, and share some of the same hardware including the 1.2 GHz processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, a screen resolution of 1280 x 800, and Google's Android 4.4 "KiKat" operating system.
