Published by Sammy Today, the document describes a timepiece with a rounded face that the wearer interacts with through hand movements. The watch detects hand motions via its camera sensor and translates them into on-screen commands. Samsung is said to have equipped the device with several other smart sensors, including a barcode reader, a fitness tracker, image search, translation tools and object recognition technology. The smartwatch will not be limited to the wearer's wrist, with the patent noting that it can also be clipped to belts and clothing, as well as hung around their neck.
