Instagram rolls out creative editing tools for Android, iOS appsJune 4, 2014 - 15:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Instagram has announced a host of new creative editing tools for its Android and iOS apps, Digital Spy said. In the face of growing competition from other photo editing apps, Instagram has now made it possible for users to decide the intensity of a filter by using a sliding bar. On top of this, it is possible to adjust brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation, highlights, shadows, vignettes and sharpness in a similar fashion by tapping on the new wrench icon. Each of the tools is displayed in a horizontal list and is adjustable on a 100-point scale. Instagram claims that its latest update was built to satisfy growing user requests for more creative options, in an attempt to "bridge the gap between being a photo geek and the rest of the world," director of product Peter Deng told Mashable. Instagram 6.0 was made available to iOS and Android on June 3. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
