Google Glass headsets get new limited edition designsJune 4, 2014 - 15:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google is adding a new range of limited edition designs to its Glass headsets, according to Digital Spy. The company has worked with fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg's studio, DVF to bring several chic looks to Google Glass, marking the first time the device has been designed by someone other than Google. Five new frames will be available from June 23, as well as eight different shades sporting the DVF logo. Net-a-Porter and sister site Mr Porter will sell the devices - which are still limited to the US - as well as through Google itself. Von Furstenberg will unveil the new designs tomorrow (June 4) as Google tries to address the aesthetic issues some have criticised as too "geeky" looking. At present, Google is only making the $1,500 Explorer version of the hardware available, which remains in beta.
