PanARMENIAN.Net - The cast members of the Wachowski siblings' sci-fi series on Netflix, "Sense 8", have been revealed. Among the 14-member international cast of the upcoming drama are "Lost" alum Naveen Andrews and "Kill Bill" star Daryl Hannah, AceShowbiz said.

Also landing roles on the 10-episode series are Brian J. Smith ("Defiance") British actors Tuppence Middleton ("Jupiter Ascending"), Aml Ameen ("The Maze Runner", "Lee Daniels' The Butler") and Freema Agyeman ("Doctor Who", "Torchwood"), Indian star Tena Desae, South Korean actress Doona Bae, German actor Max Riemelt, Mexican actors Alfonso Herrera and Erendira Ibarra as well as Jamie Clayton, Miguel Silvestri and Terrence Mann.

J. Michael Straczynski, who will serve as co-showrunner alongside the Wachowskis, shares plot details of the show. He tells Deadline that "the series follows eight characters around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally."

These people "can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other's deepest secrets. Not only must they figure out what happened and why and what it means for the future of humanity, they must do so while being hunted by an organization out to capture, kill or vivisect them."

Dubbed "a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted," the sci-fi thriller marks Andy and Lana Wachowski's, the creators of "The Matrix" trilogy, first foray into TV series. They previously shared how they came up with the idea for the project. "Several years ago, we had a late night conversation about the ways technology simultaneously unites and divides us, and out of that paradox Sense8 was born," they said.

Filming for the drama will take place in nine different locations across the globe, which are Chicago, San Francisco, London, Iceland, Seoul, Mumbai, Berlin, Mexico City and Nairobi. The 10-episode series is expected to debut on Netflix in 2015.
