FX orders “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” comedy into series

PanARMENIAN.Net - Denis Leary is back in the FX business. The network has ordered to series a new comedy from the Rescue Me co-creator/star, titled Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, Collider said.

Leary created and also stars in this new series, which revolves around middle-aged rocker Johnny Rock, whose dash with stardom was cut short due to his alcohol and drug abuse, as well as the fact that he slept with his best friend/lead guitarist’s wife. His band, The Heathens, only managed to put out one very well-received album before breaking up, and now 25 years later Johnny is trying to get the band back together. FX has ordered 10 episodes of the half-hour comedy, set to debut sometime in 2015.

In addition to Leary, the cast also includes John Corbett, Elizabeth Gillies, Elaine Hendrix, and Bobby Kelly.
