Samsung Galaxy Note 4 outshines iPhone 6 in display testSeptember 23, 2014 - 16:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The iPhone 6 Plus has the best LCD display on the market, but is apparently unable to match the QHD resolution screen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, according to Digital Spy. DisplayMate subjected both handsets to a battery of display tests, assigning the large-screen iPhone 'very good' to 'excellent' ratings for its sharpness, contrast, colour accuracy and more. However, like most LCD panels, the iPhone 6 Plus's display was marked down for its brightness variation at different viewing angles. This was not the case for the Note 4, which is said to outshine its Apple rival in terms of colour accuracy and high peak brightness levels. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 also received high marks across the board, matching the performance of the iPhone 6 Plus in most respects, but the lower pixel count was found to cause re-scaled images to appear with less clarity. Apple launched its new iPhones last Friday (September 19), while the Galaxy Note 4 is scheduled for release next month.
