Pixar confirms Peter Sohn to direct “The Good Dinosaur”October 22, 2014 - 19:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Pixar has confirmed that Peter Sohn will direct The Good Dinosaur, according to Digital Spy. He will replace Bob Peterson as principal director on the animated film, Disney-Pixar has announced. The movie was delayed last year from a 2014 to 2015 release after it was announced that Up co-director Peterson was stepping down from the project. Sohn was formerly attached as co-director. He previously worked as an animator on projects including Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Brave. Lucas Neff, John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Bill Hader and Neil Patrick Harris will feature on the film's voice cast. It will be set in a world in which dinosaurs never became extinct and instead co-exist with mankind. Details of the story are scarce, and it is believed to have been reworked extensively since Peterson's exit. The Good Dinosaur will be released on November 25, 2015 in the US and November 27 in the UK.
