"Insidious Chapter 3" supernatural thriller unveils 1st trailer (video) October 24, 2014 - 15:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first teaser trailer of "Insidious Chapter 3" has arrived. A teenage girl is haunted by a supernatural being and her father seeks the help of talented psychic Elise Rainier who appeared in the first two installments, AceShowbiz said. The third chapter actually goes back to the origin when Elise discovers a place called The Further. The prequel is set before the haunting of the Lambert family, revealing how Elise reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help the teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity. The script is written by the franchise's co-creator Leigh Whannell who is also making his directorial debut in this one. Lin Shaye returns as Elise, starring opposite Stefanie Scott as the haunted girl and Dermot Mulroney as the girl's father. The teaser introduces viewers to Scott's character who lives next door to a boy she has a fling with. She playfully communicates with him by knocking the wall to their adjacent bedrooms but finds out later that he's not home. The last minutes of the video reveals the supernatural entity that marks its existence with black footprints. "Insidious Chapter 3" will scare up audience in U.S. theaters May 29, 2015.
