It's a movie based on a Wired magazine article about a "Man Who Sold His Fate to Investors at $1 a Share", AceShowbiz reported. According to Deadline, the "Horrible Bosses" actor is tapped to portray the lead character in addition to serving behind the lens. The story revolves around a real-life man named Mike Merrill who gave himself for a public offering. He did it out of curiosity but soon found himself in a complicated situation when shareholders demanded control over his personal life decisions like whether he should have a vasectomy or whether he should move in with his longtime girlfriend.
