Google introduces new-look Calendar app for AndroidNovember 4, 2014 - 13:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google has introduced a new-look Calendar app for Android, following its vastly expanding Material Design style, according to Digital Spy. While the aesthetics have improved, the app has also added some features to make the overall experience easier. The app will now automatically extract events from your inbox and pop them into your calendar, such as flights you've booked or a concert. Meanwhile, information to speed up data entry will appear as you type, from contacts and nearby locations. A schedule view also provides a simple look at all upcoming appointments. Google Calendar is available to Android devices running 5.0 Lollipop today and will come to all Android devices running 4.1 or above through the Google Play store in the coming weeks. Google is also making an iOS version for iPhone, although no release date has been revealed.
