Opera Mini 9 browser comes to iOS devicesNovember 7, 2014 - 18:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Opera Software has launched a new web browser for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, according to Digital Spy. Opera Mini 9 continues the software's tradition of helping users curb their data consumption with a new video optimisation feature. The application saves bandwidth through a feature dubbed Video Boost, which adjusts footage so it is as economical as possible. Opera claims that this is the first time such a feature has been built into a web browser, and believes that the software is capable of rendering dedicated video apps for services such as YouTube obsolete. First released for home computers in 1995, the Opera browser is available on numerous other platforms, including Windows, OS X, Android, and BlackBerry. Opera Mini 9 is now available to download from free from the App Store. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
