Adele's record label boss talks "21" album follow-up

Adele's record label boss talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Adele's record label has no trouble with the singer taking very long time to finish her highly-anticipated new album. Richard Russell, the boss of XL Records, recently discussed the follow-up to the massively successful "21" in an interview with Q Magazine.

"It takes the length of time that it takes to do and for it to be right," Russell said, responding to fans who have been wondering when the new full-length will finally arrive. "I'm really pleased with how it's going. She's always had a very high standard for what she does. She had that from day one, which is why the records have been so good."

Adele's new album, which fans believe will be called "25", has been in the works for a while. She hinted at the LP's title and release date on her 26th birthday in May. At that time, she wrote on Twitter, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x." However, financial reports by XL Recordings recently revealed that no Adele album was planned for 2014.
