White Stripes to release "Under Amazonian Lights" live album January 7, 2015 - 16:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - To mark ten years since The White Stripes toured Get Behind Me Satan, Third Man Records have announced a lavish live album, Gigwise reports. Vault Package #23 from the label centres around a double blood red vinyl LP Under Amazonian Lights recorded live at the grand Teatro Amazonas Opera House in Manaus, Brazil on 1st June 2005. A DVD of live footage from the gig is also included. The performance itself was described by the local press at the time as 'delicious irresponsible' and was the first rock concert held at the venue. It concluded with a raucous unplugged performance of 'We Are Going To Be Friends' outside the gig which incited a near riot. Last night it was announced that Jack White will headline Coachella alongside AC/DC and Drake. White will play the festival on 11 April and 18 April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
