HTC "to roll out its first smartwatch at MWC 2015"

HTC is rumoured to be announcing its first smartwatch at MWC 2015 in March.

The company will unveil the wearable alongside its next flagship smartphone at the Barcelona event, Digital Spy reports citing Bloomberg.

The HTC smartwatch is said to come loaded with Under Armour Inc's fitness apps and services after the two companies partnered up earlier this month.

HTC's debut wearable is expected to be geared towards health and fitness fanatics, maintaining close ties with the Under Armour UA Record platform, which syncs workout data across multiple devices.

This is not the first we have heard of a HTC smartwatch, with previous reports suggesting the firm was due to release a wearable at CES 2015 earlier this month.

MWC 2015 takes place in Barcelona between March 2 and 5.
