LG unveils new lighter-than-MacBook Air laptopJanuary 23, 2015 - 12:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - LG has unveiled what it claims is the lightest Ultra PC on the market, weighing in at just 980g, Digital Spy reports. The 14Z950 laptop is even lighter than a MacBook Air, with the Apple machine tipping the scales at around 100g heavier. The notebook PC includes a 14-inch full HD IPS panel and is powered by a fifth-generation Core i7-5550U processor, that clocks in at 2.4GHz, and 8GB of RAM. Despite measuring 13.4mm at its thickest point, LG claims that the 14Z950 is capable of providing more than ten hours of battery life. Other features include 256GB onboard storage, two USB 3.0 ports, microSD support, a microUSB input and a full-size HDMI connector.
