"Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack available for streaming at SpotifyFebruary 11, 2015 - 15:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The soundtrack to one of the most anticipated films of the year, Fifty Shades of Grey is available to stream now, Gigwise reports. Featuring original songs from the likes of Jessie Ware, Annie Lennox, The Weeknd and Sia, it is safe to say that there is an almost paralleled amount of excitement surrounding this soundtrack. However, it appears that most people have been excited for the ‘Crazy In Love (2014 Remix)’ by Beyoncé, which certainly captures the eroticism of the novels. Produced by Boots (who played a large part in producing her most recent album), the song replaces Bey’s fruity and energetic vocals from the original smash-hit with more subdued and effortlessly erotic. Equally as suggestive is the song by Canadian crooner The Weeknd, entitled ‘Earned It’. The track has gone on to become his most succesful solo single, charting at No.18 on the UK Top 40. Tesfaye’s vocals sound as haunting as ever on ‘Earned It’ and there is an interesting level of sadness contained behind his sultry singing, channelling the twisted nature of Sam Taylor-Johnson’s film. Of course, this troubled nature of the novel’s protagonists is captured elsewhere on the soundtrack. ‘Salted Wound’ sees Australian superstar singer-songwriter Sia flex some of her muscles used on her older works as opposed to last year’s sensational album ‘1000 Forms of Fear’. Here Sia opts for slow-burning, somber vocals in order to communicate emotional turmoil, resulting in a truly tender track. The soundtrack is available for streaming at Spotify.
