The Dave Grohl-led rock band announced the news at the February 18 NME Awards. When collecting their International Band prize, Grohl said via video that the group would be 'seeing us soon at an outdoor festival', before coughing 'Glastonbury' under his breath. The news has since been confirmed by the festival. Foo Fighters will headline the Friday night of this year's festival. Florence + the Machine recently said that she is open to the idea of playing Glastonbury, saying she is "waiting for that phone call".
