Imagine Dragons' "Smoke + Mirrors" album tops UK charts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Imagine Dragons have claimed their first ever UK number one album with Smoke + Mirrors, Digital Spy reports.

The U.S. rock band's second album beats their 2012 debut Night Visions, which peaked at number two in the charts.

Sam Smith's In the Lonely Hour moves down to two, while Ed Sheeran's x is at three. If You're Reading This It's Too Late by Drake falls to four, and Texas 25 by Texas debuts at number five.

Thunder enter the chart at number nine with Wonder Days, as Charli XCX's third studio album Sucker lands at 15. Ne-Yo scores a sixth top 40 album with Non-Fiction at 16, while Idlewild's Everything Ever Written is at 20.

Room 94 are at 27 with their self-titled album, and Terraplane by Steve Earle & The Dukes is at 30.Little Comets debut at 31 with Hope Is Just a State of Mind, while Ibeyi enter the chart at 36 with their self-titled album.

Led Zeppelin's 1969 self-titled release re-enters the chart at 14, as Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album Rumours climbs 74 places to 38. Status Quo's Aquostic (Stripped Bare) climbs 13 places to 39.
