Apple Watch will be water-resistant, CEO says

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Apple Watch will be water-resistant, according to company CEO Tim Cook.

The executive said that the device is water-resistant enough to wear "in the shower", but it is yet to be confirmed whether it will be fully waterproof.

Cook made the revelation during a visit to one of Apple's flagship stores in Germany, Digital Spy said citing iGen.

He also reiterated that the Apple Watch will require daily charging, admitting that he starts powering his up every night before going to bed.

Apple recently confirmed that the wearable will begin shipping by April, but it is unclear which countries will receive the device within this time frame.

Apple is believed to be aiming to sell five million Apple Watches at launch.
