Florence + The Machine, Nas, Flume to headline Bestival Toronto

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bestival Toronto have announced the line-up for their first ever festival, featuring the likes of Florence + The Machine, Nas, Flume, Caribou and many more, Gigwise reports.

The world-famous festival will be exporting its unique blend of music, dance and carnival atmosphere from the Isle Of Wight to Canada for the first time this summer, and they boast a pretty marvellous bill that also features Jamie xx, Rudiment, Clean Bandit and many more.

“To say that we're excited at Bestival HQ about launching our very first Bestival outside of the UK is a serious understatement," said festival boss, DJ and all-round hero Rob Da Bank. "We've spent 12 years working up to this moment and are so proud to be teaming up with Toronto to launch the good ship that is Bestival overseas.

"I'm also very proud of our first heavy hitting line-up with typically diverse headliners, Florence and The Machine and Nas! Two amazing talents. We are also announcing; the best leftfield acts around with Caribou and Omar Souleyman, electronic music from Jamie xx and Flosstradamus."

He added: "I really hope you can join us on the ferry to Toronto Island in June. See you on the beach!”

Bestival Toronto will take place on Toronto Island from 12-13 June. General sale tickets go on sale 5 March at 10am.
