Foo Fighters ready “Songs From The Laundry Room” RSD release

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foo Fighters have announced they will be releasing Songs From The Laundry Room for Record Store Day, Gigwise reports.

Yesterday (March 10) the full of releases set for Record Store Day 2015 on 18 April was revealed - with Foo Fighters joining the likes of David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Manic Street Preachers, Chvrches, The 1975, Biffy Clyro and more set for limited edition vinyl releases through independent record stores next month.

The Foos' special 10" was recorded at Barrett Jones’ Laundry Room Studios in Seattle and collects early versions of 'Alone + Easy Target' and 'Big Me', in the form of Dave Grohl solo demos. It also includes a cover of Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America' and unreleased track 'Empty Handed'.

There are few details about the new song 'Empty Handed', other than that it was featured on a snippet of Sonic Highways, along with the 'Kid In America' cover.

The band were bound to have something special in store, especially after Dave Grohl was confirmed as ambassador for Record Store Day 2015.

Foo Fighters have been confirmed to headline Glastonbury in June, and will be playing their own headline shows throughout the summer.
