Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey among stellar cast for "The Bad Batch"March 20, 2015 - 10:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Annapurna Pictures has recruited a string of A-list stars to star in its upcoming big-screen film "The Bad Batch". Among the names attached are Keanu Reeves and Jim Carrey. The film company also enlists the likes of Suki Waterhouse and Diego Luna, AceShowbiz reports. Those newly-recruited stars join Jason Momoa, who has previously been signed to star in the drama feature. "A post-apocalyptic tale set in a Texas wasteland where a community of cannibals reside, 'The Bad Batch' is described as a love story about a cannibal known as Miami Man (Momoa) and his food," according to TheWrap. Waterhouse reportedly will be playing the female lead named Arlen, while Luna will play a man named Jimmy. Reeves will play The Dream, whereas Carrey is on board starring as The Hermit. Ana Lily Amirpour will lend a hand as director and screenwriter with the help of Megan Ellison, Danny Gabai, and Sina Sayyah as producers. Production on "The Bad Batch" is set to be kicked off next month in Los Angeles with Annapurna International planning to sell it at the Cannes Film Festival.
