Twitter boosts Vine video quality to 720p HDMarch 30, 2015 - 12:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Twitter is rolling out improved video quality to Vines, Digital Spy reports. Clips posted on the video-sharing app are being upped from 480p to 720p HD. iOS users will be first to receive the boost, while Android users will receive the update "soon". "Vine has a new, beautiful high quality format. Starting today, the stories you watch and share will look better than ever," the company said in a blog post, alongside examples of six-second clips in the new format. The upgrade comes little after the launch of Twitter's new live streaming platform Periscope, which launched on iOS on Thursday (March 26). It's biggest rival Facebook also announced new developments in video this week, with the launch of a new embeddable video player.
