Facebook rolls out new collaborative video appApril 2, 2015 - 13:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Facebook has launched another new video-focused app which allows users to build videos collaboratively, according to Digital Spy. Riff is the latest app to come from the Facebook Creative Labs, with the aim of opening up a new way to have fun making something with friends. Once logged in using Facebook credentials, users can start by entering a video topic and recording the first clip of up to 20 seconds long. When you've posted the video, other friends on Riff are notified and can then record their own clips which will be attached to the end. The process repeats with their friends too and there's no cap on the number of people who can participate. "Our hunch was that if you could make videos collaboratively, the creative process would be more fun and the final product would be cooler," Facebook product manager Josh Miller said in a blog post, as well as sharing an example of Riff in action. Users can also share their videos on Facebook, where they are able to comment on them. The app is available on iOS and Android starting from April 1.
