Marketing executive Idris Mootee has shared images of a mystery head-mounted wearable that he describes as the company's "secret weapon". The device has a sleeker design to HTC and Valve Corporation's Vive, taking the form of a futuristic-looking visor. However, it is possible that the Vive is due to undergo a design change before its consumer release, with the teasers depicting a revised model. HTC is yet to confirm when the headset will break cover as Mootee's social media post simply lists it as "coming soon". Earlier today (April 2), HTC announced a reworked version of its HTC One M8 phone called the One M8s, which will serve as a budget alternative to the One M9.
