Samsung's rumoured 'Orbis' smartwatch "to include 3G calling"

Samsung's rumoured 'Orbis' smartwatch will reportedly include 3G calling.

As Digital Spy reports citing SamMobile, the company's first round-faced smartwatch will be available in two variants.

While one will apparently offer 3G calling, the other is said to come with Bluetooth support - the latter being a cheaper device still able to make phone calls by connecting with a smartphone close by.

Both versions are expected to support Wi-Fi and may pack wireless charging capabilities too.

The Samsung 'Orbis' - also known as the Samsung Gear A - won't be the company's first smartwatch to boast 3G calling support.

Its Samsung Gear S device is able to make calls using 3G, although the service requires networks to support dual-SIM.

Previous reports suggest that the 'Orbis' will shun the Android Wear operating system in favour of Samsung's own Tizen software.
