Beck & Karen O to celebrate Lou Reed at Rock and Roll Hall Of FameApril 10, 2015 - 17:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Beck and Karen O will perform a musical tribute to Lou Reed at the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony - although presumably Metal Machine Music is of the list, according to Gigwise. As previously reported this year the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame will induct Lou Reed, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bill Withers, Green Day and the Paul Butterfeld Blues Band. Beck, Karen O and Nate Ruess will pay tribute to Read, John Legend (with a little help from Stevie Wonder) will pay tribute to Bill Withers while Gary Clark Jr and John Mayer will recognise the career of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Brilliantly Tom Morello will perform in the tribute to Paul Butterfield. Fall Out Boy will honour Green Day, Miley Cyrus will celebrate Joan Jett and Paul McCartney. The ceremony takes place on 18 April at Cleveland's Public Hall and the event will be shown on HBO later this year. The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame only accepts inductees 25 years after the release of their first record.
