Charles Aznavour releases new album ahead of his 91st birthday May 4, 2015 - 17:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Three weeks before his 91st birthday, the prominent French-Armenian singer and song writer Charles Aznavour has released a new album. Entitled “Encore”, it is the musician’s 51st collection of songs, following “Toujour” (2011). The CD comprises 12 completely new songs which are Aznavour’s gift to his fans, Tert.am reports citing Paris-normandie.fr reports. Some of the songs are said to reflect memories of past, including the World War II era fight against fascism. Aznavour is celebrating his birthday on May 22. The world ambassador of French songs, the singer is committed to continue his creative career with no thought about retirement. “It’s not just releasing a new album; I have already completed the second,” he is quoted as saying.
