Armenian Genocide: World Armenian Congress to Address Hague Tribunal
Armenian President Robert Kocharian is informed about the intention of the World Armenian Congress (WAC) expert commission to address the International Hague Tribunal on the Armenian Genocide issue. As WAC and Union of Armenians of Russia President Ara Abrahamyan reported at a news conference in Yerevan, the conclusion of 15 international lawyers over the Armenian Genocide is presented to the Armenian MFA in May 2006. In his words, three legal codes are created for the first time in the history of studying the Armenian Genocide issue. 25 experts from 20 countries, 15 international lawyers took part in the work to create these, which lasted 2.5 years. Archive data of various countries, including Russia, were used.

Sponsored by the UAR the Armenian Institute of International Law and Political Science was established in Moscow in 2002. The Institute initiated a conference titled the Genocide Factor in Settlement of the Armenian-Turkish Relations. Well-known specialists from Armenia, Russia, US, Israel, Germany, Austria took part in it. WAC Expert Commission on the Armenian Genocide was formed as a result of the conference. It involved both Armenian and foreign specialists from Israel - Israel Charny, Germany - Wolfgang Gust and Tessa Hofmann, reports IA Regnum.
