VivaCell-MTS posts Q1 2015 financial, operational resultsMay 25, 2015 - 17:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS announced financial and operational results for the first quarter of 2015, ended March 31, with the Company’s quarterly revenues totaling to AMD 16.9 billion (about 62% of revenue share in mobile communication market), and with OIBDA of more than AMD 8.1 billion, showing an increase of 4.4%, as compared to Q1 of 2014. The number subscribers using data services by phone is 1,051,251. The number of subscribers using broadband Internet (through wireless devices such as USB modems and routers) is 75,715. The total number of subscribers using data services provided by VivaCell-MTS is 1,126,966. The total number of VivaCell-MTS subscribers as of March 31, 2015, is 2.12 million (about 60% share of the market), the company said. In the first quarter of 2015, VivaCell-MTS accomplished its targets set for retail sales by offering to the market a wide range of cutting-edge mobile devices from different manufacturers, at competitive prices. Retail revenues totaled to AMD 442.5 million, by achieving a solid increase of 283.6% as compared to the same period of time a year ago. Total investment amounted to AMD 432 million.
