Florence + the Machine's "How Beautiful" tops Billboard 200

PanARMENIAN.Net - Florence and the Machine's "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful" has made its way out to No. 1 on Billboard 200. Marking the group's first effort to top the chart, the album released on June 2 arrives with 137,000 equivalent units, AceShowbiz reports citing Nielsen Music.

With 128,000 copies of traditional album sales, Florence Welch and Co. post their best sales week yet. They earned their previous biggest sales week with "Ceremonials", which started with 105,000 upon its release in 2011.

Next on Billboard 200, Taylor Swift's "1989" keeps its position steady at No. 2 with 66,000 units. Behind the former country darling is A$AP Rocky, whose "At.Long.Last.A$AP" falls from last week's No. 1 to this week's No. 3 with 50,000.

Jason Derulo is the second newcomer in the top 10 as his "Everything Is 4" lands at No. 4 with 37,000. His previous release, "Talk Dirty", also came at No. 4 with his best sales week, 44,000. At No. 5, Ed Sheeran's "X" rises two rungs with 36,000. Meanwhile, the "Pitch Perfect 2" soundtrack slips from No. 4 to No. 6 with 34,000.

Two of country music's biggest names Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard have their collaborative album "Django and Jimmie" debuted at No. 7 with 31,000 units. This is Nelson's fourth top 10 effort and Haggard's first. The latter's previous highest-charting album was his first joint album with Nelson which peaked at No. 37 in 1983.

Rounding out the top 10 are Meghan Trainor's "Title" that stays at No. 8 with 30,000, Zac Brown Band's "Jekyll + Hyde" which jumps eight rungs to No. 9 with 30,000 and Maroon 5's "V" that rises from last week's No. 11 with 29,000.
