Relations with RA Priority in Romania's Policy in Black Sea Region
Armenia enjoys most developed relations, especially in the humanitarian field, with Romania more than with the other Eastern European states, RA President Robert Kocharian said at a joint press conference with Romanian leader Traian Basescu. In his words, the states consistently implement agreements in the scientific and educational sectors. "I should mention two important processes: Romania's joining the EU January 1, 2007 and completion of talks in the Armenia-EU action plan within the European Neighborhood Policy. They open prospects for cooperation," Robert Kocharian said.

In his turn, Traian Basescu underscored that relations with Armenia are a priority in the Black Sea region. "The signing of the Plan between Armenia and EU is very important to Romania," Traian Basescu said.
