The trailer comes with a new tagline, "Meet the man who pulls the trigger," and also offers a new scene which is shot in infra-red found-footage style. Unlike the previous trailers, the new one gives detailed introduction to Benicio Del Toro's character. The trailer opens with an FBI agent, Kate (Emily Blunt), being engaged on a mission to track down Mexican drug cartels. She breaks into a house along with her team and kills a man inside the house. Kate is recruited by mysterious government official Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) to help them in a war against drugs which happens in the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico. She finds herself in confusion when she teams up with Alejandro (Del Toro) who believes that his dramatically-overreacting strategy will be perfect for the mission.
