Radio 1's Live Lounge to feature Muse, Foals, Wolf Alice

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Libertines, Foals and Muse are just a few of the artists to perform during Radio 1's Live Lounge Month starting 1 September, Gigwise reports.

The month-long feature will produce 30 Live Lounge performances across as many days. There will also be 'Live Lounge Special' days featuring Muse (11 September) and Florence + The Machine (28 September). We don't know exactly what these entail but we imagine it has to do with these artist's enormity.

Other notable artists appearing during the month will be The Vaccines, Wolf Alice, Slaves, Nero, Rudimental, Chvrches as well as more up and coming performances from Coasts, Jack Garratt and Borns.

Alice Levine will host the weekend Live Lounges during the weekend during her afternoon show. Clara Amfo will be hosting the weekday Live Lounges and has expressed her excitement over the project: "Since starting this slot on Radio 1, The Live Lounge month is something that I’ve been looking forward to. There’s a really strong mix of artists coming in throughout September and I can’t wait to enjoy their performances alongside the listeners."
