Rachel McAdams to join Benedict Cumberbatch in

PanARMENIAN.Net - Rachel McAdams is officially part of the Marvel universe. The actress has confirmed her involvement in "Doctor Strange" although she did not elaborate on her role, according to AceShowbiz.

Back in July, McAdams hinted that she was in early talks to join the movie. "It's still super-early days, and I don't know where that's gonna go - if it's gonna go anywhere at all," she told LA Times at that time.

The Wrap reported on Monday, September 14 that McAdams confirmed the news herself at Toronto International Film Festival. She would join Benedict Cumberbatch who was already tapped to play the titular role. Tilda Swinton was cast as Strange's mentor the Ancient One while Chiwetel Ejiofor was cast as villain Baron Mordo.

There's a chance that McAdams will play a woman named Clea. She is Strange's love interest who bears the gift of mystical gesture.

"Doctor Strange" is slated to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
