"Downton Abbey" unveils first footage of Season 6 in new trailer (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - PBS has shared the first look at the sixth and final season of "Downton Abbey" by releasing a new trailer. While it's quite drama-free, it teases the lives of the Crawleys and their servants six months after the events in the fifth season finale, AceShowbiz reports.

Lady Edith is in London and declares, "I'd like a life," while Lady Mary is goofing on her sister Edith, "What will she get up to?" The show is also taking Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes' romance to a new level as she asks him, "You don't think maybe you should start calling me Elsie?" Meanwhile, as usual, Isobel and the Countess Dowager are still sniping at each other.

"Downton Abbey" will return for a sixth and final season September 20 on ITV in the United Kingdom before debuting Stateside on January 3, 2016 on PBS. Executive producer Gareth Neame has promised "a final season full of all the usual drama and intrigue, but with the added excitement of discovering how and where they all end up."
