Darren Aronofsky in talks to helm iconic stuntman Evel Knievel bioSeptember 15, 2015 - 15:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Known for his directing credits which included "The Wrestler", "Black Swan", and "Noah" just to name a few, Darren Aronofsky reportedly is taking an interest in directing "Untitled Evel Knievel Biopic". Talks of Aronofsky circling the project have been spreading like wildfire all over the web, mentioning that the film director is currently in early talks with Sony. "Untitled Evel Knievel Biopic" has been in development at the studio since 2014 as a possible starring vehicle for Channing Tatum. In addition to starring in, the film hunk is on board producing alongside Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti. More details about the upcoming movie are still not known yet. Evel Knievel, known to his family as Robert Craig Knievel, became famous in the 1970s for his daredevil motorcycle stunts. One of his most notable stunts was a failed 1974 jump across Snake River Canyon on a steam-powered rocket. During his career he suffered more than 433 bone fractures. He died in 2007.
