"Everyone has to ask himself the question to what extent the bill, adopted by the French Parliament that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian Genocide, will assist Armenia," French Ambassador to Armenia Henry Cuny stated in the course of a farewell news conference owing to ending his tenure in the country. "I discussed that question with representatives of Armenian youth many times. They were grateful for the principal stand of France. At the same time they stated their future directly depends on how friendly Armenia's relations will be with neighboring states. They are convinced that it is easier to solve the problem via dialogue, than via conflict," Henry Cuny noted. "Armenians should decide their fate themselves. Your future is in your hands," he underscored.
