Saoirse Ronan period drama “Brooklyn” release date moved (video) September 18, 2015 - 15:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Fox Searchlight is moving the theatrical release of period drama “Brooklyn” up by two days, the studio announced, according to TheWrap. The film, which the distributor acquired for $9 million at the Sundance Film Festival, will hit theaters on Nov. 4 instead of Nov. 6. “Brooklyn” stars Saoirse Ronan, Domhnall Gleeson, Emory Cohen, Jim Broadbent and Julie Waters. It is directed by John Crowley. She left Ireland for New York City, and the initial feelings of homesickness disappear when a fresh romance sweeps Eilis off her feet — but soon, her past catches up to her and Eilis must choose between her two lives.
