Regional Cooperation Directions within Neighborhood Policy Being Defined in Tbilisi
Facilitating Regional Dialogue on European Neighborhood Policy two-day conference opened in Tbilisi today. It is organized under the auspices of Eurasia Foundation within the Program of Cooperation in South Caucasus. Representatives of Governments of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, civil societies and non-governmental sector, international organizations are present at the conference, whose participants define regional cooperation possible directions within the ENP. Opportunities to enhance dialogue mechanisms between authorities and civil society in the South Caucasus will also be discussed.

The conference is organized within the first phase of a new project of Involvement of Civil Sector in European Integration Process. The project is funded by the Department of International Development (DFID) of the UK and USAID. The new project goal is to promote local civil organizations and cooperation between government and civil organizations in neighborhood Policy, reports IA Novosti-Gruzia.
