The Beatles' 1st management contract sells for £365,000 at London auction October 2, 2015 - 14:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Beatles' first management contract, signed with long-time manager Brian Epstein, has sold at auction for a silly amount of money, Gigwise reports. The document was up for sale on Tuesday (29 September) and went for £365,000 at Sotherby's Rock and Pop auction in London. It is the only Beatles contract in existence signed by all four members and management Paul Epstein. The contract was famously signed in 1962 by the Fab Four despite McCartney annoying Epstein by attending the meeting late becused he was taking a bath. The contract is also agreed by George Harrison's parents since he wasn't of age when the document was drafted. The last time this contract was auctioned off was 2008 and the piece went for £240,000. We're curious to why there has been a 50% increase in value in the last seven years. Earlier this month, Drake tied with The Beatles to have the most amount of songs in the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Up until this point it was a feat only achieved by the 'greatest band on the planet'.
