Toni Collette, Sam Trammell join Daniel Radcliffe thriller “Imperium”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Toni Collette, Tracy Letts and Sam Trammell (“True Blood”) have joined Daniel Radcliffe in the thriller “Imperium,” which has started shooting in Virginia, Variety reveals.

Daniel Ragussis is directing “Imperium,” which follows Radcliffe’s character, a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation who specializes in domestic terrorism and covert operations. Collette portrays a veteran battle-hardened colleague, Letts is playing a leader of the white supremacy movement and Trammell is a seemingly normal suburban dad who is also the local Aryan youth recruiter.

Radcliffe’s character goes undercover and joins a white supremacist group in order to expose a sizable terrorist plot to create a bomb.

The script was co-written by Ragussis and former FBI agent Mike German whose counterterrorism activities inspired the movie’s plot.

The film is produced by Atomic Features and Tycor International Film Company’s Ty Walker, Dennis Lee and Simon Taufique.

Newly launched Green-Light International is handling foreign sales and brokered the domestic Lionsgate deal. The pic will be released in the U.S. via Lionsgate Premiere.
