PanARMENIAN.Net - Nicholas Hoult and Jack O'Connell are circling "A Life in the Day", a movie that chronicles the relationship between Brian Epstein and John Lennon. The "Mad Max: Fury Road" actor is expected to play Epstein and the "Unbroken" star is attached to portray Lennon, AceShowbiz reports.

According to a scoop from Deadline, "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" helmer Justin Chadwick is in negotiations to direct the true-story drama. Meanwhile, Tony Gittelson ("Veronica Mars", "Heroes", "Dexter") is tapped to pen the screenplay.

Brian Epstein discovered and managed The Beatles before he died of a drug overdose at 32. He had an intense relationship with Lennon. "Well, it was almost a love affair, but not quite. It was never consummated. But it was a pretty intense relationship," said Lennon's widow Yoko Ono. Paul McCartney called the manager "The Fifth Beatle."
