Bradley Cooper to lend voice to “A Dog’s Purpose” October 17, 2015 - 13:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - DreamWorks is in negotiations with Bradley Cooper to provide the narration as the inner voice of a dog in “A Dog’s Purpose”, Variety reports. The film is an inspirational story of one devoted dog finding his purpose in the lives of the humans he loves. It’s based on the 2010 novel of the same name by W. Bruce Cameron, written in the voice of a dog who is reincarnated several times. The dog’s names given by his human owners include Toby, Bailey, Ellie, Bear and Buddy. The film, produced by DreamWorks in association with Walden Media, is currently in production in Saskatchewan with Lasse Hallstrom directing from a screenplay by Cameron, Cathryn Michon and Audrey Wells. Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson, K.J. Apa, Juliet Rylance, Peggy Lipton, Pooch Hall and John Ortiz are starring. Gavin Polone is producing with executive producers Alan Blomquist and Mark Sourian. Cooper will be seen next as a chef in Weinstein Company’s “Burnt.” He’s repped by CAA. “A Dog’s Prupose” will not be the actor’s first time voicing an animal. He also lent his voice to “Guardians of the Galaxy,” in which he played the furry, genetically altered superhero Rocket Raccoon. The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
