HTC One A9 officially unveiled as iPhone 6S lookalikeOctober 21, 2015 - 04:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - After countless leaks and endless rumours, the HTC One A9 has been officially unveiled, having taken more than a few design pointers from the iPhone 6S, Digital Spy reports. With a sleek, 7.26mm thick, 143g body hewn from metal, the HTC One A9's softly curved edges and flat, antenna line-accented rear give more than a casual nod to the look of Apple's latest pocket blower. This device isn't just about its iPhone-esque appearance though, oh no. The A9, sibling to the flagship HTC One M9, will be one of the first devices to run Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS direct from the box - no endless waiting for the update then. As well as being powered by the battery-boosting, Google Now-enhancing software, under the hood the One A9 plays host to all manner of decent specs. Set to go head-to-head with the likes of the Huawei Mate S and Moto X Play, the phone features Qualcomm's latest 64-bit Snapdragon 617 processor alongside 2GB of RAM and a 2,150mAh battery. With a 13-megapixel camera capable of shooting RAW images on its rear and an Ultrapixel selfie camera around front, the HTC One A9's features list is rounded off by 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. Set to be available in Opal Silver and Carbon Grey on day one - with Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet (red) colour schemes to follow - the HTC One A9 will hit UK retailers during the first week of November. Finalised pricing is yet to be confirmed. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
