Bestseller-based

PanARMENIAN.Net - Following the debut of the first teaser, the first full trailer for "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" has surfaced online. Starring Lily James, the movie follows the story of a woman who tries to find her true love amid the outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into sadistic killers, AceShowbiz reports.

"It began with the black plague. Within weeks, the dead began to rise, hunting the human flesh. Now the few of us that left have only one way to survive. We must bring the fight to them," someone says in voiceover, opening the trailer as a group of zombies are seen occupying the city.

Based on Seth Grahame-Smith's best-selling mash-up novel of the same name, the movie takes place in a 19th-century English countryside, when Elizabeth Bennet (James) and Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) engage in a love story as they fight to eradicate the mysterious plague.

Burr Steers serves behind the lens with a script penned by David O. Russell and Burr Steers. James and Riley lead the cast which also includes Bella Heathcote, Suki Waterhouse, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Jack Huston, Lena Headey, Charles Dance and Emma Greenwell. The zombie movie is scheduled for a U.S. release on February 2, 2016.
