“Wonder Woman” scribe to pen Tom Cruise actioner “Luna Park”October 28, 2015 - 11:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - “Wonder Woman” scribe Jason Fuchs has been set to write the latest draft of Tom Cruise and Doug Liman’s sci-fi actioner “Luna Park” for Paramount and Skydance, sources tell Variety. Variety first reported that Cruise was joining Liman to develop “Luna Park” with an eye to star in the film for Paramount. Sources now say if all goes well with Fuchs’ draft, Paramount and Skydance would try to squeeze in the film before the next installment of “Mission: Impossible,” which is currently being eyed for a summer 2016 shoot. Cruise is currently shooting “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back,” and he could jump into “Luna Park” afterward. “Luna Park’s” plot revolves around a group of renegade employees who venture to the moon to steal an energy source. Besides penning “Wonder Woman,” Fuchs also recently penned Warner Bros.’ “Pan” and has several films in development including “Rust” at Fox. He has also gotten back into acting, most recently shooting “La La Land” with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.
