Mia Wasikowska’s "Alice Through the Looking Glass" unveils teaserNovember 2, 2015 - 12:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - After releasing the first look at "Alice Through the Looking Glass" characters and costumes, Disney has debuted a teaser for the fantasy movie. The first footage of the live-action sequel to "Alice in Wonderland" features Mia Wasikowska reprising her role as the title character as she walks through a door in the sky and tumbles down, AceShowbiz reports. The upcoming movie brings back Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter (Hatter Tarrant Hightopp), Anne Hathaway as the White Queen (Mirana) and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen (Iracebeth). Also joining Wasikowska and Depp in the cast are Matt Lucas, Rhys Ifans, Mark Rylance, Toby Jones, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Barbara Windsor. James Bobin sits behind the lens with a script penned by Linda Woolverton. Produced by Joe Roth, Jennifer Todd and Suzanne Todd, the fantasy movie is slated for a U.S. release on May 27, 2016. The Tim Burton-directed "Alice in Wonderland" had a massive success when it was released in 2010, garnering $334.2 million domestically and more than $1 billion worldwide. With a lot of original stars returning, "Alice Through the Looking Glass" is expected to repeat the success of its predecessor.
